• 4Q09 net revenues of $287.0 million, compared to 3Q09 net revenues of $213.1 million and 4Q08 revenues of $68.8 million.

Canadian Solar Inc. The 3.2 kW DC Canadian Solar system was installed on Canada's first C-2000 designated,Green on the Grand, office building using less than 50 percent energy and water normally used for a commercial building.

CS6P-230P Module Leads the Ratings for Highest Quality and Efficiency

Canadian Solar Inc. (Nasdaq: CSIQ) today announced that five of its solar module series, CS6P- 220P, 225P, 230P, CS5P-240M and CS5A- 180M, rank amongst the highest performing in last month's PV USA (PTC) ratings. PTC ratings are quickly becoming universally accepted standards for measuring real-world module power and performance.

Canadian Solar Inc. (Nasdaq: CSIQ), a leading vertically integrated provider of solar cells, solar module custom-designed solar application products and turnkey solutions for the residential, commercial and solar farm markets, today announced it installed Ontario's first 250 kW photovoltaic (PV) rooftop system through its subsidiary Canadian Solutions Inc. The installation, the first of its kind in Ontario, is being completed with Towcon Holdings and Aecon.

Canadian Solar Inc. (Nasdaq: CSIQ) today announced that that it has entered into a sales contract with Fire Energy Group. Under terms of the contract, shipments started in January, with Canadian Solar expected to supply 60MW of PV modules to Fire Energy in 2010.

Fire Energy Group is a system integrator that provides project management and distribution services. Fire Energy Group will use its global reach to promote Canadian Solar's PV products in Spain, Germany, Italy, the U.S., the Czech Republic, Morocco and China.

Canadian Solar Inc. (Nasdaq: CSIQ) today announced a joint venture and an 18 MW distribution deal with West Holding Ltd of Japan.

The agreement stipulates a transfer of 14% of the shares in Canadian Solar Japan, which is the Japanese subsidiary of Canadian Solar Inc., to West Holding Ltd. Canadian Solar retains the remaining 86%. West Holding Ltd will distribute and sell solar residential rooftop systems designed by Canadian Solar Japan. The sales target for 2010 is approximately 18 MW. Deliveries began in December 2009.
