Scheuten Solar extends state-of-the-art production line

Total production capacity increases to approximately 200 MW

Scheuten Solar, a global player in designing, manufacturing and applying photovoltaic solar modules significantly expands its production line in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, with 60 MW. By extending its volume Scheuten Solar reacts on the increasing demand of its high quality PV modules. With the expansion the organization doubles its total production volume in 2010 compared to 2009.

Scheuten Solar opens two 1 MW projects in Italy

Projects with a combined output of 4 MW under construction

On Tuesday 23rd February the official opening of two 1 MW projects realized by Scheuten Solar took place at Palo del Colle, in Bari province, Italy. The Italian companies Molino Casillo S.p.A. and Ascopiave S.p.a. (daughter company Ascoenergy S.r.l.) have teamed up as investors in these sustainable energy projects in Italy’s Apulia region. Apart from the above, Scheuten Solar is realizing another four 1 MW projects in Italy with the same partners.

Scheuten Solar USA receives $ 3 million governmental funding for the realization of a 5 MW solar project

This week the state of Pennsylvania granted $ 9.5 million of federal incentive funds to solar projects. The largest funding of $ 3 million will go to Scheuten Solar USA Inc. for a PV-power plant in the state of Pennsylvania where Scheuten Solar will convert a brown field into a 5 MW solar field. The project will be completed by the end of 2010.

“Receiving this grant is a milestone for our office in the USA and gives us the opportunity to take further steps in the American market”, says Frans van den Heuvel, Chief Executive Officer.

No joint venture Scheuten Solar and Delta

Scheuten Solar has announced that the proposed joint venture with energy company Delta is cancelled. Scheuten Solar and Delta operate in different areas of the solar energy industry and intended to establish a joint venture to combine those activities. In the last quarter of 2009 it became clear that both companies couldn’t come to an agreement.

Scheuten Solar, a global player in designing, manufacturing and applying photovoltaic solar modules adjusted its product range for 2010. By closely monitoring the market and communicating with customers Scheuten Solar adapts its modules of the Multisol® series to seamlessly fit actual requirements of module quality, application and design. AE Polysilicon has been awarded a tax credit of USD 44.85m by the US government

Scheuten Solar announces that AE Polysilicon has been awarded a tax credit of USD 44.85m by the US government. Scheuten Solar is a strategic investor in AE Polysilicon which is building a 2,500 ton polysilicon factory in Pennsylvania. This project for cost price leading technology for high grade silicon was one of the 183 projects over 43 states in the US which meet the criteria of creating high-quality clean energy jobs.
