Less than nine months after beginning production at its new Albuquerque facility, SCHOTT Solar today announced the expansion of its photovoltaic (PV) module production line. PV production will double, from two shifts to four shifts on a rotating schedule, effectively creating a 24 hour-a-day, 7 days-a-week production capacity at SCHOTT Solar’s flagship facility.

SCHOTT Solar today announced that it is streamlining its North American sales operations. To better serve the North American market, the company will be opening regional sales offices in San Jose, CA and Elmsford, NY. The regional sales offices will be supporting SCHOTT Solar’s newly-opened flagship manufacturing facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The company’s Albuquerque site, effective with this announcement, has become the North American headquarters for SCHOTT Solar, Inc.
