Solarfun Awarded Two PV Module Contracts Totaling 12MW in Italy

Solarfun Power Holdings Co., Ltd., a vertically integrated manufacturer of silicon ingots, wafers and photovoltaic cells and modules in China, today announced it has entered into two contracts to supply 12MW PV modules to projects in Italy. The first contract was signed with GranSolarGhella, SrL to supply 6MW PV modules to southern Italy, to be delivered in the second half of 2010. The second contract was signed with T.R.Z. Tozzi Renewable Energy S.p.A. to supply 6MW PV modules to central Italy, to be delivered during the third quarter of 2010.

Solarfun Obtained RMB7 Billion Framework Credit Facility From Bank of China

Solarfun Power Holdings Co., Ltd. (Nasdaq: SOLF), a vertically integrated manufacturer of silicon ingots and photovoltaic cells and modules in China, today announced that Jiangsu Linyang Solarfun Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Solarfun, has obtained a framework credit facility in the amount of RMB7 billion, or an equivalent amount of foreign currency, from Bank of China, Nantong branch. The contract has a term of 10 years and provides a number of credit facility options.

Solarfun Obtained RMB6 Billion Credit Facility With Bank of Shanghai

Solarfun Power Holdings Co., Ltd., a vertically integrated manufacturer of silicon ingots and photovoltaic cells and modules in China, today announced that Jiangsu Linyang Solarfun Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Solarfun, has obtained a credit facility in the amount not exceeding RMB6 billion, or an equivalent amount of foreign currency, from Bank of Shanghai, Nanjing branch. The contract has a term of 5 years. Specific drawdowns against this facility are subject to internal review and approval by the Bank.

Solarfun Announces Plans for Increase in Cell Capacity and Introduction of High-Efficiency Cell Technology

 Solarfun Power Holdings Co., Ltd., a vertically integrated manufacturer of silicon ingots, wafers and photovoltaic cells and modules in China, today announced its plan to increase its cell capacity by 50 MW through the enhancement of its manufacturing processes, and to convert 160 MW of its existing cell lines to high-efficiency selective emitter technology, both to be completed in the early first quarter of 2011.
