SOLON SE remains true to its quality strategy and extends the guarantee conditions for solar modules retroactively as of March 1, 2010. The SOLON performance guarantee lays out a five-stage guarantee service over 25 years, instead of the typical two-stage guarantee offered on the market. SOLON thus guarantees an output capacity of 95 percent for the first five years after the purchase of a solar module, 90 percent for ten years, 87 percent for 15 years, 83% for 20 years, and 80% for 25 years.

The receipt of an additional EUR34 million represents the complete payment of the outstanding receivables from the projects implemented in Spain in 2008. As a result, operating cash flow has improved further. The payments from Spain further increased available cash and undrawn credit facilities. SOLON SE wins contract for additional 11 MWp project in Spain

SOLON SE has been selected to build another turnkey, 11 MWp solar power plant in Spain. The contract was awarded by Renewable Energies and Photovoltaics Spain S.L. (REPS), a majority owned subsidiary of the Norwegian energy company Statkraft AS. The solar power plant will be erected in southern Spain, in the Andalucian town of Espejo and will incorporate SOLON Single Axis tracking photovoltaic systems.
