AE Polysilicon has been awarded a tax credit of USD 44.85m by the US government

Scheuten Solar announces that AE Polysilicon has been awarded a tax credit of USD 44.85m by the US government. Scheuten Solar is a strategic investor in AE Polysilicon which is building a 2,500 ton polysilicon factory in Pennsylvania. This project for cost price leading technology for high grade silicon was one of the 183 projects over 43 states in the US which meet the criteria of creating high-quality clean energy jobs.

AE Polysillicon’s president York Tsuo said the credit will provide an incredible return on investment once the company is in production. The Obama administration announced Friday that it would offer USD 2.3bn in tax credits for 183 renewables, energy efficiency and automotive manufacturing plants.
